- "A new leap forward in the era of global food content"
The World Food Culture Institute (Director Yang Hyang-ja) and KAMBANG (CEO Kim Moon-kyo) will join hands to establish an Internet broadcasting station that will open a new horizon for the food content industry at home and abroad. The two organizations recently held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) ceremony to establish an Internet broadcasting station specializing in food somewhere in Seoul to discuss ways to cooperate in the future.

The agreement was designed to promote food culture around the world and to raise the level of the domestic food content industry to the next level. In particular, in line with the trend of the digital era, various and in-depth food programs using YouTube and OTT platforms are expected to be developed, drawing attention from the industry.
Yang Hyang-ja, chairman of the World Food Culture Institute, said, "I want to shed light on the culture and stories contained in food beyond just cooking broadcasts," adding, "It will serve as a bridge between the world's tables."
Kim Moon-kyo, CEO of CAM Broadcasting, expressed his expectation for the establishment of the broadcasting station, saying, "Through this agreement, we will introduce food content with global competitiveness and provide a new stage for emerging chefs and food influencers."
The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both organizations and cultural and media figures, and had a meaningful meeting. The two sides will pursue various projects in the future, including producing joint planning programs, producing documentary series introducing global food culture, and live broadcasting of food festivals at home and abroad.

Choi Ki-chul, the food master of the World Food Culture Institute, has been reportedly appointed as the first broadcast director.
The agreement is seen as a symbolic milestone in preparing for the future of the content industry and showing a willingness to communicate with the world through the common language of food.
Meanwhile, a food-specialized Internet station will introduce its first launch program in the second half of the year, heralding its growth into a platform where both general viewers and food creators can participate.
